Documentation
International attendees may need additional documentation to gain entry into Canada. Please checkout the Government of Canada website for requirements based on your citizenship status. If you require a letter of support for you visa application, the ICCA conference secretariat will provide you with an electronic version supporting conference attendance only. The organizing committee is not responsible for the application, decision, or issuance of visas. Letters will only be issued after full payment is received.
Airfare
The ICCA Conference Committee has secured exclusive discounts and benefits with Air Canada, WestJet, Air France, KLM Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa Group (Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, Lufthansa, Swiss Air, Edelweiss, Discover), and are actively seeking more partners. Booking information will be available to delegates with complete, paid registration. Check your Registration Confirmation email for details.
Accommodations
The ICCA 2026 conference secretariat has secured discounted room rates at the Campus Tower Suite Hotel and at Lister Centre. Delegates are responsible for their own accommodation booking and cancellations. Rooms at these hotels are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Booking information will be available to delegates with complete, paid registrations. Check your Registration Confirmation email for details.
University of Alberta
Established in 1908 as a board-governed, public institution, the University of Alberta has earned the reputation of being one of the best universities in Canada based on our strengths in teaching, research, and service. The University serves over 37,000 students in more than 200 undergraduate programs and 170 graduate programs.
The Universities Faculty of Arts is the oldest and most diverse faculty on campus, as well as one of the largest research and teaching centres in Western Canada.

ICCA 2026 sessions are being held on the North Campus of the University of Alberta.

Pre-Conference Sessions will be held in the Central Academic Building (CAB) located centrally on the University North Campus.
Main Conference Sessions will be held in the Biological Sciences (BS) building and the Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Science (CCIS) – both Located on the North edge of campus, along Saskatchewan Drive

The city that is home to ICCA 2026’s venue, the University of Alberta. The U of A is one of Canada’s largest and most-respected research universities.
Edmonton, Alberta has a metro population of approximately one million. The city boasts numerous arts and music festivals, and the largest system of urban parkland in North America.
Edmonton and the University of Alberta are situated on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting ground and home for many Indigenous Peoples, including Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, and Nakota Sioux.
